Charm necklace - silver

Okay. This one may need a slightly more thorough explanation, as often happens with pieces I make Just For Myself.

As a helpless fan of the Joker and his various incarnations ranging from Mark Hamill's actually funny trickster to Heath Ledger's agent of chaos, I of course went and fell head over heels into the JokerBlogs fandom. Thusly, in a mad, uncontrollable fit of goldsmithing I produced this charm necklace, combining aspects from the various Jokers: it's got a burnt and mangled Joker card obviously, the paratrooper's tactical knife Joker favors in The Dark Knight, and a fork which explains itself in An Apple a Day.

The fork is a little over 30mm long, that should give you some idea of the size. All made from solid bits of silver for some reason, I only soldered the prongs of the fork together so they wouldn't bend, plus the jump rings. All scratched, battered and heavily patinated, just the way I like my silver. Close-ups of the charms can be found here.

Seven hours from start to finish. The chain was pre-fabricated of course, I'm not that crazy.
