Pendant - silver, steel, ruby bearings
I have found that carefully dismantling old watches is a very calming procedure that holds you in a peaceful, trance-like state. I received a handful of old watches from my grandfather a while ago, and upon opening one of them I found utter, functional beauty. The small red bits you see are ruby bearings, used in fancy watches for their distinct oily smoothness.
Letting form follow function I encased two of these whatevers in silver.

This is beautiful!! I also have a fascination with the inside of watches, but i have never done anything like this! Would love to one day explore something like this myself!! x
